Ryan....

I know Mom is waiting for these (as well as Auntie too!) so I wanted to get a sneak peek up for you guys. I had so much fun hanging out with Ryan yesterday. He was so natural in front of the camera that he made my job easy. Thanks for climbing over blackberry bushes and through mud holes in your flip flops just to get the shot, Ryan. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! :)

sweet slumber

Little Hudson. What a beautiful little man. Only 9 days old and he was content to sleep the entire 3 hour session. I want to thank you so much Lynette for asking me to photograph your newest addition. I had a wonderful time on Saturday. I always leave a newborn session feeling soothed and content. It's as if holding a newborn is good for my soul. I feel so blessed to be able to do something I love so much and in turn give the gift of memories to new parents. For we all know how quickly these moments will pass.

I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I'll be in touch soon!

Class of '09

I had so much fun with this senior session! We went to one of my favorite locations and got to explore almost every inch of it. Sorry for the mud covered sandals, Becky! But it was all for the sake of a great photo, right? I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

The Fabulous Five

5 boys on a rainy Saturday morning. This is normally the type of session I prefer to do outside but the weather just wasn't having it. But you know what, they did fabulous! It was so nice to have the big boys there as my helpers. All of these kiddos were just oh so sweet. Thanks so much everyone for asking me to photograph your little guys. It was lots of fun!

Fashion Friday..... welcome to the world of Etsy

Ok, so I know it's been a few weeks since my last Fashion Friday. But this one was worth the wait, I promise. If you haven't discovered Etsy, you don't know what you have been missing. Etsy is a bit like Ebay, except everything for sale is handmade by the seller. It is FABULOUS! Not only are you supporting people who are making these goods out of their homes, but everything I have purchased has been outstanding quality. And it's not just clothes, Etsy has everything handmade you can think of! Go check it out. click here for Etsy

I dressed Maddy in some of her wonderful Etsy pieces and took her out in our backyard for a little mini shoot. I just love the layering in this outfit. When dressing your little ones, think layers and textures. This outfit has velvet pants, a sweet cotton pillowcase dress and a handknit cable knit sweater coat - all from Etsy.

Here are some of my favorite Etsy sellers. But there are so many more! Search for things like vintage, boutique, retro and you will see. :)

Tickled Pink Girls {Maddy's velvet ruffle pants}

Boutique Mia {pillow case dress}

Little Sweetie Boutique

Humblebea's
